Wandering Scholars provides an opportunity for festival participants to be transported back in time to partake in conversation with renowned ‘great thinkers’ who have revolutionized their field through unique teaching practices. Look for the Wandering Scholars throughout the Festival and engage in discussion with great thinkers from centuries past about their world views, pedagogical approaches and their contributions to contemporary education.
Past Wandering Scholars have included Maria Montessori, Dr. Seuss, Soren Kierkegaard, Arthur Lismer, Sarah Winnemuca, and others.
This year, at the Teaching Fair or World Cafe, you will have the opportunity to meet Rabindranth Tagore, Muhammad Yunus, Ninoy Aquino, Plato, Thomas Kuhn and Karl Popper.
